A man awakens in a hospital bed, having no clue about what his identity is. He discovers that he is needed for submitting a sequence of murders!
Awake is a psychosomatic thriller about a typical event entitled ‘anesthetic awareness,’ a dismaying wonder wherein a patient’s nose-dived anesthesia leaves him completely cognizant, however physically incapacitated during a surgery. The patient’s beguiling new spouse is compelled to battle with her own imps as a petrifying drama unfurls around the couple.
The twists & turns in the plot are redirecting in a silly way. Yet, it’s a movie you watch in a state of skeptical apathy, tortured by the horrifying impossibility, hitherto excessively deadened with weariness to do anything about it.
The film appropriately streaks up an informative note about this marvel as the initial credits roll, in any case, oddly, the film seems not to have anything to do with it for a long while, and its reality just gets evident towards the end, as an offbeat kind of plot empowering influence.
